McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial SP

The first place that we visited during our recent three-day road trip was McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial SP. The highlight of the park is the 129-foot Burney Falls. As you can see at the photos below, the falls are truly beautiful. They can be seen already from a viewpoint located just few meters away from the parking lot, but you will get a much better view of them if you set up for a 3-mile long loop hike to their base. I would definitely strongly recommend it as the hike is very pleasant, leading along the creek and through the forrest.
